Description

Otrivin Junior Nasal Spray is a nasal decongestant formulated with a lower concentration of active ingredient to provide little blocked noses short-term relief of a blocked or runny nose caused by colds, flu, sinusitis, hayfever or other allergic rhinitis. Perfect for children who favour a spray format.

Otrivin Junior Nasal Spray can be used by Children 6-11 years, on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist for the temporary relief of nasal congestion due to colds, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis and sinusitis.

Nasal decongestant. Acts quickly to relieve a blocked or runny nose caused by colds, flu, sinusitis, hayfever or other allergic rhinitis. Short-term treatment of allergic rhinitis to relieve nasal congestion.

Directions

Children aged 6-11 years with adult supervision: 2 sprays into each nostril up to 3 times daily as needed. Do not use more often than every 8-10 hours. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. 1. To avoid possible spread of infection, the spray should only be used by one person. 2. Gently clear your child's nose 3. Remove protective cap. 4. Before using for the first time, prime the pump by actuation 4 times. If the product has not been used for longer than 7 days, the pump will need to be reprimed with 2 actuations. If the full spray is not administered, the dose should not be repeated. Be careful not to spray in the eyes or mouth. 5. Hold bottle upright with thumb under base and nozzle between two fingers. 6. Lean your child's head forward slightly and insert the nozzle into the nostril. Spray and ask the child to breathe in gently through the nose at the same time. 7. Repeat with the other nostril. 8. Clean and dry the nozzle before replacing back the cap right after use.

USAGE ADVICE

Do not use Otrivin Junior: - If your child is under 6 years of age. - If your child is allergic to xylometazoline or any other ingredients of this medicine. - If your child has had recent operations through the nose or mouth. - If your child has narrow angle glaucoma. - If your child has inflammatory nasal dryness. - If your child is pregnant. - In children aged 6-11 years unless on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist. - If irritation occurs, or if your child has signs of allergy, discontinue use. - If package use-by date has expired. Ask a doctor before use if your child: - Is breastfeeding. - Suffers from high blood pressure. - Has heart disease. - Has an overactive thyroid. - Has diabetes. - Has phaeochromocytoma. - Has an enlarged prostate gland. - Is taking or has taken anti-depressants in the past 2 weeks. - Has any other medical conditions. - Is taking other medicines.

Keep out of reach of children.
